Facebook invite for baby shower?

I feel like it’s super tacky but this is my first. My mom doesn’t have a Facebook so I would have to invite everyone on Facebook. I just feel like it’s tacky. Idk what are your thoughts?

My husband and I did our wedding invites through Facebook. I see nothing wrong with it. It's free and physical invitations can get expensive.

My mom planned my baby shower but doesn’t have Facebook, so I sent most of the invites out myself on a Facebook event page 👌🏻 (we sent out invitations by mail to the ones who didn’t have Facebook) it was convenient to add details & follow up with people, & was less stress for my mom while she planned everything else 😊

My sister did my shower invites through Facebook. It was convenient and made it easy for her to follow up with people who hadn’t rsvp’d yet. Most people log onto Facebook several times a day so they’ll also see it faster than a mailed invite.

Times are changing I think Facebook and e-invites are the best thing now. Could get a digital invite and send it as a text or email. most people probably don’t even check their mail since everything is online now.

I seem to be the odd one out but I do think that’s a little tacky. Bridal and baby showers are pretty much the only occasions we should have a little bit of etiquette in this modern age. Save Facebook for the first birthday party and mail some invitations if you can. It will make your guests feel like this is a special event and not just another hangout.

Honestly Facebook is what everyone uses now days I sent my baby super invitations through the mail and I had to tell people to check their mail you'd be surprised how many people rarely check their mail I had so many people I sent invitations to asking for the baby shower info I'd be like ummm check your In my opinion Facebook would he the way to go

We literally just sent out all our baby announcements with registry info so I didn’t want to mail a whole other invite since we are keeping the shower very small (80% of our family is out of town). So I just sent a cute text to everyone lol not a big deal
