Pregnant on pill?

Could I possibly get pregnant on the pill? My boyfriend and I are not trying to get pregnant but we wouldn’t be mad if it happened. I mess it up all the time, but I’ve also heard you don’t ovulate, is that true?

If you’re not taking the bc properly then obviously that would increase your chances of getting pregnant

Yes. If a penis enters your vagina, protected or not, you can get pregnant. Even when taking it properly, the pill isn't 100% effective.

I got pregnant on the pill, found out afterwards I wasn’t taking a high enough dose

If you think you might be pregnant you should stop taking the pill. And if you don’t take it the way you’re supposed to than it does significantly increase the chances of pregnancy.

I got pregnant whilst on the pill. I missed one and then took it late the next day (accidentally left them at home when I was away for the weekend) and had sex a few days later when I was back on track and... surprise!! Maybe stop taking it altogether if you aren't concerned about it either way, taking it sporadically can mess your hormones up x

Correct, you do not ovulate on birth control. Your “period” on birth control is not a real period. It’s a withdrawal bleed from the lack of hormones in the sugar pills.
