Florida in August with year old baby?

My husband and I are trying to plan a vacation. we were thinking destin Florida late August. The 26th-31st. I’m worried about the heat, but we live in Missouri so we are used to heat...Our son will be a year in May, so he isn’t too young. But do you think August is a bad time? Too hot at that time? Advice please 😭

Our daughter turned 1 in May and we went in late August to Destin this last year. We had a great time! It was perfect!

I’m from Florida n August is one of our most hottest months here especially if ur going to south and central Florida just make sure ur always hydrated n wear sunscreen because ur not used to the weather n ull be fine .

August is definitely the hottest month here.  However it is manageable.  Wear light clothing,  pack sun screen,  bring a portable fan,  wear sun glasses and hats,  stay hydrated (and I mean like overly hydrate),  and take breaks from the heat (do an indoor activity).  Honestly it's brutally hot from may-november here.  September through November are hurricane months and rainy.

I live in Destin Florida. August is one the hottest months, 90+ temp everyday and humidity too. I would plan on pool days and limit beach time to after 3-4pm when the sun isn’t that hot. I would push it back to sept if you can.

Missouri heat is laughable compared to Florida heat. We don’t even go outside in August unless we have to or unless it’s night. It’s too damn hot. 
I wouldn’t go until late September- October.

I was born in August. Lived in Florida my whole life. So I was a year old in Florida. I was always st the beach in the sun. I turned out fine. Lol 🤷🏽‍♀️

August is hot down south. Just make sure your baby isn’t outside very long, lots of sunscreen, shade and liquids. Honestly April is comfortable or I’d wait until later September
