Anatomy scan round 3?!

Question

Anyone else have to go in for three rounds of anatomy scans? Our little girl was not cooperating again today. We were able to get the heart that we missed last time but we couldn’t get the profile view of her to check for the nasal bone and after 15 minutes our ultrasound tech gave up and said we have to come back in two more weeks and if she still won’t we will be upgraded to a high risk ultrasound! She didn’t try having me walk around, shining a light in, drinking cold water...said none of those would have any effect on her. They also haven’t been able to tell me how big she is. Said they will tell me at the next one. Anyone else experience this??

I had my second try today and they got a lot of the missing measurements, but are still missing one and I’ll have to go back to try a third time.

I almost had to come in a third time! The second follow up was just for a few specific heart photos. It took them over a hour to finally get them. And only after the dr spent 20 min doing it herself versus the tech. Thank god she finally got it though! First time baby didn’t move enough. This time, baby was moving too much!

I've been in and have had 3 different ultrasounds ... for different reasons , just be glad you arnt called in because doing is really wrong 😁😁

I’m currently having the same problem. My 2nd ultrasound is tomorrow and I’m hoping my little girl is a little more cooperative. Last ultrasound the tech spent 2 hours trying to get pictures of everything and still missed a couple things! On the bright side, I guess it’s a good thing our little girls are so active! I had my anatomy scan yesterday and I have to go back in a month to have heart checked again because baby was in a difficult position to see. The doc reassured me that it doesn't mean there is a problem and it happens often...hearing your story I guess the third time doesn't always work either.

This was me yesterday, I posted in a separate comment. Had my second follow up yesterday and they still were. It able to get the pics of the heart of. Any after two hours. Two techs and the doc tried but baby kept on showing the spine. Since I’m 23 weeks already I’m going to go do an echo tomorrow. Just traveling into manhattan is such a pain, especially since all my regular doc appointments are in Brooklyn  near where I live.  Glad to hear I’m. It the only one.

For me my baby wasn’t cooperating either the technician asked me if I had ate something before coming since my appointment was really early I said just cereal so she had me use the bathroom touch my toes 5 times go got a lil walk and the baby moved it wasn’t trying to show the spine you should try doing those things

Mine was over and done with in 15-20 minutes and they got everything.  Baby boy is measuring almost 2 weeks ahead.  I told the doctor i was worried because i read of do many other women having difficulty like y'all and she said they've never taken that long.  Although i was kinda looking forward to seeing my baby for 1 to 2 hours lol.  Good luck on your next visit.

My baby wasn't cooperating either, it took them 1 hour 20 mins to get all the measurents. But the US tech did not give up.
