Period Products (cup)

Hey, so everything I've used so far has leaked at least a little and I was actually told my vagina has a weird shape which might be causing the leakage (can't remember exactly what was said). Would a cup work for me? If so would it still leak? I hate wearing pads (I get a rash after less than an hour) and I still have to wear liners when using a tampon (this is what I usually do). I'm still waiting on the return of my period after having my son 7.5 months ago but I am trying to become more environmentally friendly, I thought a cup may help with that.
