Multiple losses

I have an appointment coming up with a specialist but I wanted to put this out there to hear about other ladies’ experiences: I had a missed miscarriage this past May and a chemical pregnancy about a week before Christmas. I’m praying it’s just been “bad luck” but I’d be interested to hear if anyone else experienced a similar pattern? Did you meet with a specialist and if so was it helpful? It’s been exactly a year that we’ve been trying and we have yet to try anything such as progesterone, clomid, etc.
