Too soon ?

Question

Period is due in 4 days .. I’m so impatient & I haven’t had any period symptoms, usually I get them a week or 2 before.
Is it so soon to take a test 😩 
I know it is but I just need to hear it lol.

Is it important to you to know as soon as possible? Then maybe test. But if you don’t want to waste the cost of a test (can be quite a bit if you are testing frequently and aren’t using cheap dollar store tests).. then wait some more. 
Also a personal note, I tested 2 days early and it was negative. I tested again 3 days late and it was positive. I tested 2 days early only because my husband was going out of town that day for 2 weeks and I wanted to know that day so I could tell him in person before he left. But my levels weren’t enough then to be detectable.

Is it too soon? Only if you want an accurate result, lol. Some tests say you can test 5 days early, but they sometimes don’t say the accuracy is very low if you test that early. 
Here is a chart I got from google. Depending on the source, the actual percentages quoted could vary (based on the quality of the test), but typically you don’t get in the 80-90% accuracy range until your period is already late.
