How early before the wedding do you throw a bridal shower/bachelorette party? Please read below

My mom is getting remarried and it’s just going to be a small simple wedding in April, they just got engaged Christmas night. She’s super laid back and “stuff” for lack of a better description. Any traditional bachelorette type stuff is out of the question lol so what she suggested was “fancy coffee and desserts with a few friends”. I’m going to invite more than the four people she thought of, but as I am starting to plan I realized I don’t know when to throw it 😂😂 how far ahead do I do this? It’s more of a bridal shower than bachelorette party anyway  
Also, literally one month before her wedding is my baby shower which she is planning 😂 this year is a mess lol

When my friend got married, her wedding was in May, and her bachelorette party was in March. For some reason none of the bridesmaids got invited to her shower? So idk when that was lol

I had mine in April and got married in June. My cousin had her shower in June and got married in November. It all depends on timing and what you want to do.

If you’re doing one then I say a month in advance- It’s not your typical bachelorette(for recovery purposes don’t know how people have theirs then walk down the aisle the next day or even week haha) but a month should be plenty of time. I say that or 3 weeks before.

I got married in October, bridal shower was a month before and the bachelorette party was a week before. The timing had a lot to do with schedules of everyone involved
