Daughter hates potty now

I’ve tried getting my daughter familiar with her little potty off and on for the last few weeks and now when I went to hit it hard and officially start potty training she will not sit on the thing anymore. She starts whining and crying for me to hold her as soon as I sit her on it. She was all about it for awhile and even peed on it a couple times. I don’t know what’s changed or how to handle it. I’ve tried to make it really exciting and positive for her but nothing really is working. Any tips?
