Ovalution test as an pregnancy test?

Hi my periods is due tiday soo i dont bave pregnancy test soo i used ovalution test and i came positive did anyone had this experience???

Yes , I took an opk the beginning of August 2018 it was positive. I took another one after I ovulated to see if it would’ve been negative (which it was) 6 days before my period was due I had cramping and I didn’t have an pregnancy test at the moment so I’ve read that an opk can detect hcg so I took the opk and it came out positive so I knew I wasn’t gonna ovulate twice in one month lol so I went and got a pregnancy test and boom BFP so yeah ..
