My 2 years old refused diapers and keeps taking them off and throwing tantrums but he also refused sit on the potty.

I’m sorry you are going through this. I don’t have a ton of advice but my daughter is potty training and just started taking her diaper off in the morning and peeing in her bed. I put her diaper on at night before bed and put on footed pajamas on BACKWARDS and then she can’t take them off to get her diaper off. Maybe you can try that during the day to keep the diaper on? Also she doesn’t like it when her underwear is wet when she has an accident so have you tried putting underwear on him? Maybe make buying and wearing underwear a big exciting deal and he will wear those instead of a diaper.

Pull ups and bodysuits.
My daughter will pull hers off in the crib if she doesn’t have a bodysuit on, amazon has 4T ones. 
As for potty training. I let her tell me when she was ready and made a HUGE deal every time she went potty. Clapping, cheering, jumping around etc. She was so so so proud of herself every time and loved getting some potty candy. She’s been 95% potty trained since October. Just recently she started holding her poo until she has a diaper on though so we’ve taken a couple steps back there.
