I had an episiotomy with an epidural. it wasnt to painful recovering.. just make sure you get pads that are completely smooth, i didnt realize and a stitch got caught and that was super painful. also witch hazel pads are a life saver 👌👌

I got episiotomy it did hurt the first day but it got better by the next day and it healed quite fastly. Wasn't that bad.

I tore (actually I had two tears) with my 9lb 12oz baby. I had an epidural so I didn’t feel anything while getting stitched up (the doc only stitched up one of the tears and she said the other would heal on its own).

Second degree tear, had stitches. Was painful but not unbearable. Mostly miserable peeing and pooping lol. Got better after 2 weeks! Don’t look down there either unless you can handle gross weird looking things cause I looked down there with a mirror and saw the stitches and what not and boy was I horrified.
