(NOT endometriosis) - I have endometritis (an infection of uterus). I’m almost 2 weeks PP and it started about 5 days PP with a high fever and pain. I’ve been on antibiotics for almost a week and I have EXTREME pain when my pain killers wear off. I’m talking ER trip level pain that can only be fixed with hydrocodone.

Anyone else have this have any advice about what I can expect with pain? I can’t believe I am still having this much pain and it seems to be getting worse not better with time.

My OB wants to do a D and C if it doesn’t improve when I finish my antibiotic. 🙁 Sounds terrible when I have a newborn and am breastfeeding. 😔
