Can someone assist me with this?

So went to see my specialist today but had an ultrasound a hour prior to my appt and it’s a small cyst on my left ovary which is no worry. Then the specialist PA comes in and says are you ovulating I said yes I monitor with opks and she’s like it could be the small cyst making your opks positive I said nope I’ve never heard of that if a small cyst is making my opks positive then they would be positive even after af goes off and I test. She couldn’t say anything but look stupid. Like back up I know my body and most definitely know when I’m ovulating or if I’m not. I’ve never heard of a small cyst causing opk to be false when I start tracking the day after af goes off up until my tests gets darker.
