Is this dangerous

I been getting migraines everyday since about 5 years now. I think it’s hereditary actually because my mom does. But I wake up with it in the morning and doesn’t go away till I take aspirin. my doctor sending me for a CT scan of the head but Online I read they can cause cancer and doesn’t always show the cause of headache. Advice! I’m only 21..
