I just have to vent...

My whole family is going to Mexico for my cousins wedding in 2 weeks. It’s going to be like a huge family reunion, and my parents even paid for mine and my husbands tickets and stay for us to go.

I’m 8 weeks pregnant and JUST found out that you’re not supposed to go to Mexico (or any other places where Zika has been reported) while pregnant. I didn’t even think about it.

My doctor says to go just with precautions, but so many other reliable sources such as the CDC government website and what to expect say to avoid it.

I just don’t feel comfortable going, my husband and I don’t want to risk something happening to our baby. But it kills me to cancel. My mom is really really mad for me saying we might have to cancel, and I think she’s hurt too. I’m hurt as well. My family means the world to me and we never get together anymore. So much money, time, and planning wasted. Im pretty sure I’m not going to go but then again I’m so torn.
