Should I be on birth control?
I’m 18 and I’m a lesbian (so I don’t need birth control for safe sex.) I have always had pretty heavy periods and I don’t always get cramps, but when I do, they’re absolutely horrible. It feels like if you took a dull knife, stabbed it through my belly button, and just started swirling it around. I firmly believe I’m anemic as well. I still live with my parents and I kinda want to try the pill, but I don’t want to ask them. What should I do?
