Is this girl lying?

So my husband is good friends with this guy from work, let’s call him Tom. This weekend I met Tom’s girlfriend. Tom seems like a really nice guy he’s 20, I think his girlfriend is 20 as well. She just seemed a bit strange. She seems like she lies a lot. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but this is too much. The first night I met her she told us a lot. She told us that she is pregnant, which could be true but she said that she hasn’t taken a test yet she knows because she’s ate sour straws and ranch. And a pee test won’t show up only a blood test or an ultrasound, which she could be telling the truth. I am pregnant...I went to throw up and 2 minutes later she ran in the bathroom to “throw up”. She said that she had a daughter when she was 16 that died 3 days later, then her ex tied her to a bed when she was 8 month pregnant and beat her for 3 days and she had the baby in a hotel bathtub, then she was pregnant with Tom’s twins didn’t find out until she was 5 months and had a miscarriage with them, has had 4 miscarriage’s with Tom even tho they haven’t been together but 7 months (still possible I guess). She said that she used to be an escort, she was born a hermaphrodite, her dad molested her, her mom beats her...all these terrible things which do happen to people and I feel so bad for her. Well back to her being pregnant I told her with her history of miscarriages, if she thought she was pregnant she should go to the dr ASAP cuz she said she was having pains. Well she went yesterday and the pee test said no, so they did a blood test. Tom told my husband that they don’t trust the dr or the pee test but they definitely do trust the blood test. Today the dr called and said the blood test was negative and Tom said that they don’t trust the blood test she definitely is pregnant that with her disorder only an ultrasound can tell her anything...is this true? Tom seems like a really nice guy just really gullible and I’d hate for him to get caught up with someone who lies so much.

***P.S. I know that all this can happen and has happened to many people, but it just seemed like a lot to tell someone that you just met but I’m trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. Sorry if this is a lot or it’s spelled wrong it was just a lot to say.
