Birth control

Hi guys, so my question is have anyone else ever experienced bleeding on and off while on birth control , I had a period last week before starting bc and then started my pills and I’ve been noticing light brown and some times red like spotting when I wipe or in my underwear . My Gyno said it’s normal but I’m not liking this at all
