Double pram????

Hi guys I'm still struggling with the idea of what to do with my pram situation. I'm struggling with the idea that my toddler will be around 3 1/2 when the second baby is born and feel like yea I will be judged for having him in a double pram.

However I feel like I will need the support for majority of the time as I will be the one out and about with both of them, sometimes out for the day or getting shopping done etc.

My toddler still naps in the afternoon so this is another thing for me. His rest is important to me and although we've tested him without a nap we don't feel he's quiet ready to let them go yet as he struggles through the day especially when we are out and about having fun.

I want to be able to spend the day out with both kids alone as struggle free as possible. And ofcourse let my older walk when he wants to, but be able to give my oldest the accessibility to rest on long days when needed.

We don't have a car so we are basically walking lots or commuting by bus and usually carrying groceries.

Neither my husband nor I would be in the state to physically carry a toddler around or loads of groceries.

Is buying a double pram worth it even if it's for a year? I've also considered getting a used one so it doesn't hurt so much if my oldest ends up growing out of it quicker than I think.

I've looked at sit and stands but not sure either. We've been trying my toddler in a scooter however he isnt so confident yet and tbh i think id be too anxious to have him on a scooter while i push my newborn. And obviously a scotter wont give him rest either when he needs it.

Any suggestions or advice? I live in the UK and I feel like the variety isn't as large as in the US. So I feel a bit limited here.

I guess I'm worried about the judgement more than anything.

What do you think?
