Mucus plug????

I'm pretty frightened.  Is this the mucus plug?  And if not,  what in the world is it?

It could be a part of it, yeah. But depending on how far along you are it can always regenerate. When I lost mine it was massive, so that's only a small piece of it 😃

It could be but I also think it looks just like regular heavy discharge x

It looks like a tiny part of it, it's  common to lose bits throughout the pregnancy and it will regenerate depending how far along you are. I've been losing mine since 12 weeks and I'm now 31+4.
As long as it's not got blood in it, you're generally fine.
