What would you do? Gender accidentally revealed.

We did not want to find out the gender of our baby. The genetic counselor slipped and told me this week. After getting over the initial devastation (sort of), I have to decide what to do. Hubby still does not want to know but also does not want to find out from me when I eventually slip. I have 5 months to go, ugh. Would you have a gender reveal? Tell Hubby a special way privately? Any other suggestions?

Husband and I also want to keep it a surprise until delivery. If this happened to me, I might plan something special for just my husband and I.....maybe our parents also, but I would never have a big gender reveal event. They just aren’t my thing.

I was very fortunate that my doctors office warned me to make sure they knew we didn’t want to know the sex. That’s stinks!

Oh I’m in a very similar boat! Our big ultrasound isn’t until the 23rd. I planned on having my mom and husband there, and for the ultrasound tech to give my mom the info about gender. She wants to give us a gender reveal occasion - I didn’t want anything big or elaborate, and to focus the reveal more for my older two children than for myself. 
But. I get cervix checks (transvag ultrasound) every two weeks. And the ultrasound tech could tell it’s a boy at my last one last week. She asked if I wanted to know, but I’d honestly already seen the penis on the monitor so I knew. 
So now I know. I’m not supposed to know. Nobody else knows (well, my sister and my best friend both know because I have a big mouth and couldn’t keep this all to myself for two weeks or more! Lol). But my husband doesn’t know yet. 
I’m torn between keeping this from him or letting him know. My best friend lives seven hours away, so I don’t worry about her spilling the news. My sister is sworn to secrecy. I can either tell my husband, and then continue with the gender reveal surprise for the rest of the family. Or keep my mouth shut and keep my sisters shut, pretend nobody knows, and go along with the gender reveal and act as surprised as everyone else....
