33 weeks and contractions

Winter

So yesterday I was having contractions off and on and due to that and pelvic pressure I decided better safe then sorry and went in to the doctor around 2am. This was after trying everything I have done in the past to rid myself of Braxton Hicks BTW. We get there and they finally hook me up and realize I was in fact having contractions and not Braxton Hicks so I'm all set up minus no call button or info on how to get water etc. Finally get a doc in get checked slight dilation which said doctor said didn't suprise her since this is my 3rd. Finally get a call button and water. Tests are run, that silly protein thing to see if I'm at risk of delivering soon is done alone with a ua. Fluids are admitted then a shot cus my urine had bacteria they wanted to help against. Contractions have been pretty steady and have increased in intensity at this point. End up getting terbutaline after just being told it should stop the preterm labor. My heart rate and baby's spike... I start gets the shakes (I already have uncontrollable muscles spasms often but this was worse) finally another doctor comes in saying I haven't dilated (even though they only checked me once so how the hell he figured that out idk) and the terbutaline seems to be slowing my contractions and it looks like it was a false alarm since that silly protein thing came back negative. He blamed dehydration for the contractions even though after two bags of fluids and the shot I was still having mild random contractions that were already beginning to build in strength and time again. After 6 and a half hours I was sent home. Kinda feels like I wasted my time there and my hubby is now so sore from there barely there chairs and we both didn't sleep all night and now have to take back older with our other two. I'm tired and frustrated and can't wait to talk to my normal doctor come Tuesday.
