Newborn snot and boogers??

So my son was congested and the dr cleaned his nose out and it was all yellow and green. She didnt seen worried, and just told me if he sounds stuffed up, to clean him out. Today I used saline and the booger suction and the hugest bright green gunk came out. He isnt feverish or acting sick and the dr didnt seem worried by it at all. Is this just a normal newborn thing I forgot? Lol he sneezes a lot but she said that was normal. Hes only 5 days old.
