So to start I am married, 2 kids under 2.5. Late last week I missed taking a pill. Completely forgot - never ever has happened before. In 10 years. Anyway, we had sex that night, unprotected and everything. Come Saturday, I realized that I had missed the pill when I went to take that mornings. I am not 100% sure when I ovulated but I distinctly remember having pain in my left ovary on Thursday and Friday. My period was due Monday, and I started sitting Sunday, Monday was a light flow and it’s just been spotting since. Like not even filing a liner. . . My main question/ concern is can you get pregnant if you miss one mini pill? My dr switched my bc to the mini in October after I was getting migraines from the dual hormone. All my bc package insert says is that it thickens the cervical mucus, it doesn’t say whether or not it prevents ovulation.
