SHOULD I TEST?!!!

Okay ladies so I was 5 days late and on day 6 my period came on which lasted 3 days... On the first day it was pinkish, second day it was heavy and last night it ended off being pinkish like when I started... Could this be a sign of pregnancy

To be honest this happened to me too and I was confused. We were trying to conceive that month and I was three days late then I had a really weird short period that wasn’t as heavy as my normal periods. 
However, I have tested every day I was late and I got three negative pregnancy tests and I assumed that maybe the egg was fertilized late and conception was unsuccessful, but that was just my theory to make myself feel better. 
If you test let me know how it goes!!
P.S I did end up getting pregnant a month later which made things more confusing.
