Is it my period?

So I got an IUD on the 16th. I was supposed to get my period on the 15th but didn’t. The doctor said the IUD might jumpstart my period. I was bleeding all day yesterday (16th) and I’m bleeding today. Its super light to the point where I really don’t need a tampon or pad. My period is usually crazy heavy I know the doctor said it would make my period lighter but I doubt it works that fast. It’s it my period or is it just normal blood from insertion?
