Need opinions on husbands choice baby name! Orlando?

We just found out yesterday that we are having a baby boy! Husband is insisting on naming our baby Orlando but I’m not really sure that I like the name. He really loves it and when I told him I didn’t he seemed really disappointed. What is your opinion? I like the nickname Ollie but not sure if I could get used to Orlando. Also mentioned it to our families and no one liked it 😬🤷🏼‍♀️

I think the first name needs to be liked between the two of you. It’s not fair of him to say his choice is the only choice. My husband likes specific names and I tell him we ave to agree mutually on the first name and he can fully choose the middle name.

“Orlando, do you like it? It's autumn sunrise.”

I think y’all need to pick out a fist name that y’all both like and maybe let the middle name be Orlando. 
Or maybe you pick out the first name and let him have Orlando as the middle name 
Or if you do have his first name as Orlando then I also think Ollie is a cute nickname. 
I don’t care for the name Orlando personally, but that’s y’alls child and y’all should compromise on whatever y’all decide ☺️

I have a friend whose middle name is Orlando. I think it’s pretty cool. Maybe a compromise with your husband to use it as a middle?
Could also use Lando as a nickname when older. 
Ollie is very cute and works well for a little boy

I feel like Orlando is more of a girly name, as more women I know are the ones named after states, flowers, cities, etc. But either way, I agree w the other women saying you should wait until it’s agreed. Good luck and congrats
