Nicknames for Warner D. ?

We love the name Warner, but I want a cute nickname to call him. His last name starts with D. Husband thinks the nickname “dubs” is cute because it starts with a W. Any suggestions??? I do not like any variation of Warn, Arnie, etc. please help!!

Why does he have to have a nickname? Can’t you just call him Warner...? If you like it enough to name your child that for life, then call him that!

There isn't an obvious nickname besides the ones you mentioned. I feel your struggle. We name our son Foster and both loved the name, but my only hesitation was that there isn't a great nickname. However, I think nicknames aren't super necessary for two syllable names, and I've found that so far (he's 5 months old) I don't have feel like I need to call him anything aside from Foster or other endearing names like honey, cutie, sweetie, etc.

Warner is a cute name but My hubs Middle name is Werner! He hated it! Was teased and called weiner by his brothers and classmates.

Just popping in to say that I love the name Warner! Trying to get my husband on board. We have a Larson and Darbi. So I am searching for a name that has an AR in it for our third baby due April! Not that I have to have a name like that but I like calling them Lar and Dar. So he would be a War. 👏🏼👏🏼 never thought of Arnie! 😂 but I love Dubs. Looking for a girl name too as we aren’t finding out the gender. It’s so tough!
