A long ass time ago (5 years) I was prescribed birth control for my cystic acne because the other options my doctor had suggested were too aggressive and had negative side effects. The pill was amazing at keeping my skin clear and I eventually stopped taking it. But since I was sexually active i decided the implant bar would be my best choice because as a busy college student I wouldn’t have to worry about forgetting it. The implant didn’t make my acne any worse or better but the acne did come back. Is there any other form of birth control that might be able to help treat my acne like the pill but I don’t have to take it every day?
