Our mixed family

I love seeing everyone’s family pictures on here so I figured I’d add my own! My husband and I have been friends since high school. He graduated 2 years sooner than I did and left for the Air Force. When I graduated 2 years later, we refound each other and ended up dating. I left the sunshine state to move to the hate crime state (North Dakota) where he was stationed. We’re now in Virginia!

Our experience there was less than pleasant, but it didn’t deter us from engagement and marriage after being together for 2 years. This year will be our 2nd year married. Last year we welcomed a beautiful daughter and this year, in September, if all goes as planned we’ll welcome another beautiful baby in September (I’m currently 4 weeks pregnant).

My husband identifies as Hispanic but he’s ethnically East Asian and Hispanic (Honduran). I’m white. I think our daughter got a wonderful blend of the both of us and I’m hoping baby 2 does too!
