Okay so I am 2 weeks away from my gender reveal and just trying to figure some little things out like what I’m going to wear and what colors I’ll wear... I know the gender of the baby (a boy) and I told my best friend because well .. she’s my best friend 🤷🏽‍♀️ lol.. other than her; my mom knows the gender as well but she won’t be here for the reveal (lives in another state) so basically the gender will be a surprise to family and friends.. it’s not a big party; just something small & smooth (about 15-20 people the most) So my best friend keeps asking me “what are you wearing ?” 🙄 as if I know right now 😒 I told her that I am waiting until the week of to buy my outfit just to make sure it will fit the day of and I also told her that I am not wearing any obvious colors such as all blue or all pink.. I told her that I might do a mix of both colors or all white just to keep everyone neutral on guessing the gender. Nothing wrong with that right ? (So I thought) 😒 she proceeds to tell me that she’s wearing ALL BLUE 😑 and I told her that if IM not wearing any obvious colors then everyone will expect her to (being my “best friend”) so I told her to NOT wear that color and to dress regular but every other day we speak on the phone she keeps saying she’s wearing blue 😒 then not only is she saying that but she also tells me that she’s going to wear this exaggerated dress she bought and heels that she got a while back and said “I need to make an entrance” 😑 Lmaooo at this point I am HIGHLY ANNOYED with her!!!! As if she’s making this whole thing about herself and it’s not! It’s not even about me! It’s about the baby gender reveal and it’s not even this big extravaganza for her to do all of that! Shoot I’m not even dressing up my damn self so why would you want to or try to out dress me or make this grand entrance?? I’m confused 🤔 she has 1 1/2 year old twin boys and never have I came to her baby shower or their birthday party out dressed or just extra for something that isn’t and wasn’t for me. I hope she’s taking my daily reminders into consideration because I will never speak to her again I swear! .. am I tripping out or is she trying to “take my shine” ? 🤔 I don’t think I’m over exaggerating at all .. I just don’t understand what’s her problem... my boyfriend thinks she’s either jealous of me and wants to ruin my day or she’s seeking attention.. honestly I don’t want to think like that but it’s also been other things that she’s done or said besides this that makes me second guess if he could be right all along ..
