Could you find each twin with doppler?

Hi ladies! I saw my twins on ultrasound at 8w2d and they were the same size and had the same heartrate. 
With my son, I depended on a doppler to keep my sanity between ultrasounds because I’ve had losses before. This time around, I can’t tell if I’m hearing the same baby in multiple places or if it’s each twin! I can hear a 175 heartrate in 3 places. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Im 9w2d and don’t have another ultrasound for almost a month. It’s making me crazy. How do you find each twin with doppler??

Its not that you cant find it just that you cant know if its really baby b or baby a heartbeat. So you could think you found baby b heart and really you just hearing baby a again. Which is why even doctors usually just use ultrasound. They never used a doppler on me when i was preg w twins.

I found separate heart beats around 10 weeks.  It was kind of by mistake...I slid over slightly and heard a completely different beat.  They were almost on top of each other at that time though.  After a few weeks I knew where they were laying and it was easier to find each of them.

Yup I can tell with mine. They are also in the own sacks. They usually like to stick to certain spots though so they are pretty easy to determine, especially because one sits lower by my hip bone/pelvis, and the other is higher up almost right beside my belly button on the opposite side. Also their heart rates are a little different from one another. It has been easier the bigger they have got. We are now almost 17 weeks. 
Also even my ob will use the doppler and can tell which one is which :)

It’s mostly a style thing. Heart rate variability is normal and expected, and, as the babies age, a sign of good brain development...so it’s really just guesswork when folks say they can distinguish them. Those little beats are quite resonant, so you can hear twin (or singleton) heart tones all over the belly.  I wish reassurance was as easy as using the Doppler - for all of us!  ❤️. Keep breathing and remember most pregnancies are healthy and normal

My doctor used a doppler yesterday for me at 15w and could immediately distinguish each twin based on location, left twin was 152 and the right 163. She said if she couldn’t distinguish a 10bpm heart rate she would use the ultrasound. But they were being sweet this appointment, so no ultrasound for me. 🙄😂

Mine are di/di so different sacs. Usually the girl stays higher than the boy. And they stay on opposite ends of me. So I’m pretty sure I can tell with mine.

Yes I could find baby a and baby b separate with Doppler. I knew where they both were though and there heart rates were always a little different
