IUD or Arm Implant?

I'm 15, I have a bf of 2 years and we're getting a bit more physically intimate. My mom talked to me and said to decide between the IUD or implant. I'm leaning towards the IUD but wondering how others feel about it

It’s up to you which method you decide to use. Personally I would recommend the implant. 
The implant is painless (apart from the numbing jag which is a sting) and is very very effective.

I have the iud. I like it, I’m getting mine switched to a higher dose one due to personal reasons too long to explain. Anyways! It hurt like a bitch going in but that’s my on complaint about it really. If you do decide on the iud...just know getting it will hurt. But! The process is quick and once it’s done your good to go!

Iuds are recommended for people who have had children, if you read the pamphlet. I mean, anyone can get it, but I would suggest the implant.

I've only been on the pill, I think you should talk to your doctor about it more if you cant choose

There are other options that don't require foreign objects to be put in your body. I was on the patch for a while and it is super easy. You just put it on and it stays there for a week. Then you take it off and put a new one on in a different spot. The only thing I didn't like is that you always get a ring around it because of the adhesive.

I've known 2 women get pregnant off the implant. I personally have an iud. I recommend it, but the first few months can be annoying

Implant. I hav with iud and I’ve had major random cramping 5 months in. Still happening. Also got a couple positive pregnancy tests and then a miscarriage. Also if you haven’t given birth I’ve heard it sucks getting it in. It wasn’t too painful for me (just given birth)

I have the IUD. Mirena and I love it. After 4 months it made my periods go away which i love because mine are heavy. The only side effect i had was 2 weeks of bad cramps. Insertion was really crampy. That's all. No pills, no pharmacy and other meds dont interact. It lasts 5 years.
