Clomid vs Femara- HELP!

Hey all! Maybe some TMI but questions needing answers please. Unexplained infertility although I was found to be producing very small follicles prior to Clomid.

After 5 rounds of Clomid with Ovidrel trigger, 2 IUI- I still have an empty uterus here. Prior to Clomid, my CM was always there and never an issue. I could almost pinpoint ovulation as I would get lots of egg white CM around time of positive opk. With Clomid I literally have NONE! It’s horrible. Also have had so many horrible headaches and each time seems to worsen. Well after cycle #4 with Clomid i was found to have a cyst on my right ovary. They said that’s no relation to Clomid but every where I look says it’s a common issue. I had to skip a month. Flash forward to cycle #5 and my lining was the thinnest it had ever been. They want me to do Clomid again- I’m asking to switch. My question is- are there any success rates with femara vs Clomid? Any of the same side effects with femara (ie barely any CM, headaches, thin uterine lining, etc)? Anyone taking them find they ovulated earlier than with Clomid or follicles were different size wise with one vs the others?
