Period stopping birth control?

Is there a birth control that will stop your period or at least have it come every few months rather than every month? I'm tired of the pain and spending so much money of feminine products.....

Yeah there are. I think there's one so you only get a period 4 times a year, and I'm sure you can get ones that stop it all together. 
Interestingly the period you get on the pill isn't even a true period, ask your doctor about skipping periods on the pill

I would agree there are many types, mainly the hormonal ones. Some of the Pills, the hormonal IUDs (ex. Skyla/Kyleena/or Mirena), the implant (Nexplanon), and the shot (Depo-Provera) are all known to interfere with your cycle. 
I personally have the Mirena IUD and my period after over a year is more of irregular spotting that only requires pantyliners at most. Everybody is different so I would bring it up to a doctor to see what's right for you. There are pros and cons to all of them and everybody reacts differently.

Lots of birth control can as a side effect but it doesn’t mean it will, however a lot of birth control can lighten your period. I’d ask your doctor about options
