Baby almost lost her toe!

Jessie

My baby girl is 11 weeks old. I left her with Dad while I went to supper with some friends. My husband said about an hour after I left, he fed her a bottle and changed her diaper. After that she started crying and nothing would calm her down. She screamed for another hour before I got home. She cried so hard until she exhausted herself and fell asleep. My poor husband was so distraught. So I get home and she's fussy but nothing out of the ordinary. I thought she must want to comfort nurse so I went to change her diaper and get her into a sleep sack for bed. I unbuttoned her onsie and when I went to take her foot out, it wouldn't come out. It was stuck on something! So I rolled the onsie down and saw a string from the onsie wrapped around her second toe! Her toe was purple and so swollen! She started screaming again while I tried to get the string off and I was panicking! I was able to unwind the string eventually but I was so scared! It looked so painful. Her tiny toe still has a faint line from the string but it looks almost normal now. Check your baby's toes if they are crabby!
