How long does first round of IVF last?

How many days I need to take off work to do the first round IVF?

I mimic most the comments it depends on your schedule,but until you get going on stims and they see how your body reacts it could be 8 days or 14 of stims it really varies.  Last time I took off retrieval and implant days only.  My ultrasounds and blood are always before work or over lunch.  I’m planning the same with our current round of IVF, though it’s looking like we may have a weekend retrieval this time.

None. Yet. They'll give you a calendar and then that calendar will be adjusted based on your body. I've had 3 rounds and I haven't hit the "target" dates on any of the calendars yet.

I took two off for the retrieval and will take two off for the transfer. I was able to schedule all blood work and monitoring appointments early at 7:30am.

If you  are thinking just to egg retrieval, it took me only 10 days and my er fell on a Saturday and I took mon- wed off bc of ohss (estrogen was 8000 🥴). I didn’t take off one day during monitoring.
If you do a fresh cycle you would probably also take off the day of transfer. Even with a frozen cycle that’s all you really need off as well.
If all goes well you really only need 2 days off, egg retrieval and transfer day, but that’s if your clinic offers early morning monitoring to get it in before work, which most do.!

I think this depends on if you're doing a fresh or frozen transfer. I didn't have to take off any time for the egg retrieval portion of IVF

Depends on your job and locations of your clinic. I only took 2 days off my entire cycle. But I was able to get early morning AOTA and my boss was fine with me being a few mins late. I took off for my retrieval and my transfer (both were on a Friday).
