Soft spot sunken?

My daughter is almost 3 months! She’s always fed, full, good body temp, and overall seems healthy and happy! But occasionally her soft spot will seem very sunken and others it is fine. I know everything says to go to the doctor immediately and I do plan on talking to her pediatrician but I just want to hear from other moms. Anyone else have kiddos with finicky soft spots?

Is it usually before a feeding? May be a sign of dehydration?

We had to take our son to the hospital when he was 5 wks for something else but all the nurses would check his soft spot to see whether he’s dehydrated. If it’s sunken and they’re not producing enough wet nappies, it means they could do with some more milk/formula but if they won’t take it, I’d go to Dr or hospital cause they can get very dehydrated super quick. 
My son is 3 months and I still check for it. We live in Australia and it’s summer at the moment so I’m super aware of his spot to make sure he’s drinking enough.
