What’s your plan?

I’m planning a natural birth in the hospital and am working hard on writing a birth plan that will help prevent interventions that aren’t medically necessary. I also know a lot can happen to change the plan- but that’s what I am hoping for. But no judgement- anyone who creates a human is awesome however it comes out! What’s your plan?

I have no expectations lol, we will be at the hospital & depending on how everything goes, I will use meds as I see necessary!!

If I learned anything with my first it was to keep an open mind and ask for time to think about options when they present them to you. I regret not taking the time to talk to my husband about our options before agreeing to interventions. Know what you want going in, and feel free to step back and reevaluate as you go. In MOST scenarios you have time to think and ask what all your options are.

I want to have a home birth or birth center birth but can't afford it right now so natural at the hospital is what we are doing. We are hiring a doula to help and I'm doing the hypnobabies homestudy course. My advice, hire a doula

Im having a home birth because i knew if i had a hospital birth i would be begging for an epidural. And its cheaper! I reccomentd reading the book ina mays guide to childbirth

Lol but seriously though ima need that epidural as soon as i hit 5 CM 😂 
With my first I got my epidural at that time and I didn’t feel a thing, I went in with no birth plan and it went pretty well so I’m gonna go in the same but I know good and well I’m gonna beg them to put a needle in my spine 🤷🏻‍♀️

We had a doula with our first and I had exactly the birth I wanted; hospital with zero interventions or drugs. I was so happy that although I feel much more confident this time, we’re hiring a doula again. It just makes me feel so much better.

Natural in hospital.  With my first I ended up needing pictocin, it's a devil drug, but ended up getting an iv pain killer which helped me relax but still feel everything. I do not regret for one second anything I did in delivery. I was walking the halls, bouncing on the yoga ball and doing everything I could to dilate and it just wasnt happening. I just pray this time I dont need the pictocin and can do it 100% natural.
