Should I take Plan B?

I was with my bf and the condom broke. He thrusted in for a little while before realizing it, but quickly pulled out when he did. We stopped right then and he didn't come in me. I got scared because I looked and realized I might be ovulating. Should I go ahead and take the Plan B to play it safe? I have an appointment in about a month to get on birth control. Should I let them know I took Plan B?
