Yaz pills for birth control? Have you taken them/your experience with them?

So, my doctor reccomends yaz, but i have read good and bad reviews about it.
Have you ever taken this pill? After reading the stories I'm really scared to start it. 🤯🤯🤯
What kind of side effects can I expect? 
I would be taking it for preventing pregnancy, my periods are regular and not heavy, no acne, no pcos. I'm 17 normal weight and height.

I took them for awhile in university. I loved that my period was only 3 days long!

I went with its sister pull beyaz and I wa heaven for me. Minimal side effects and minimal weight gain

Yasmin (what it's called in Canada) was awesome. My skin was always clear. Of course, I now hate them, because I've been trying to get pregnant for almost 4 years, and I feel like I stayed on the pill for too long😭.

Personally I havent taken it, but all birth control really messes with my anxiety so I steer clear of bc altogether. I do know of 2 friends that took it and they didn't like it. Also, I think they had a class action lawsuit out for it being dangerous only a fee years ago?
