Any smokers?

Hello, I am a smoker and I am ttc. I keep hearing about how much cigarettes effect fertility, but I'm having a hard time kicking it.

You must ask yourself and be honest is smoking more important than having a baby? Then you’ll get serious,time is short and much harder in your 40’s so get real with yourself and your health best of luck

I get that it’s a real addiction but you need to quit. Dealing with ttc over 40 is hard enough. Smoking will just accelerate the process of ageing your eggs and at our age there are only so many good ones. You can do this.

When you leave out the house take a limited amount of cigarettes with you. This can help you start smoking less. I have been a smoker since I was 11 but each pregnancy I've been blessed for my baby to reject it. My most recent pregnancy I went cold turkey and to this day I am still smoke free(since 11/19/18).

I did it, it’s hard but once you do you feel so much better.  I had to just quit cold turkey.  Try to stay busy and the thing that helped the most...putting off the cigarette.  I’ll just wait a few more minutes, then I would get busy, wait a  it longer and so on until I realized that few minutes I was supposed to wait never came.

So I smoked until I was 3 months pregnant it’s so easy for everyone to say just quit and it’s really not that easy as all. Also depending on how much you smoke some doctors will ween you off smoking not just stop because it can cause more bad than good to quit. Take your time hun. I smoked a pack a day and quit cold turkey at 3 months but I made a choice to myself and my baby but it’s not easy and don’t let anyone tell you it is or make you feel like a bad person if it’s hard for you. You can do it though

I think part of my problem is that my man had his sperm checked and he didn't have anything detectible. So they're going to have him test again in a couple months but I almost keep feeling like he doesn't have any swimmers. He's also quite a bit over weight (as am I) and we are both trying to be healthier in general. He's already lost 10 pounds and that was over the holidays even. But when I'm feeling like it isn't possible anyways, I smoke.... It becomes harder to say no to the cravings.

Better u liMit your smoking ...I once become a smoker also ...When I get pregnant last year November I quit sMoking..But December I miscarriage...I'm thiNking maybe becaUse I'm a sMoker last time that's why  one of the main reason of my miscarriage is I become smoker😥😥😥
