Does he really care about me??

My bf and I have been together 3 months now and my whole family knows about him. But about a month ago he finally told his parents.

He stays between his aunt’s apartment and his uncle’s apartment. His parents are back in Maine.

He hasn’t fully told his aunt and uncle but they know of me kinda. But anyway I thought with them knowing of me we would be able to see each other more. But no. He still has to sneak around and they treat him like a little kid even tho he has a job, is going to college, pays for his college and his own bills, gives them money when they need it, and helps pay rent at both places.

Cause he hasn’t come out and told them it makes me feel like maybe he’s embarrassed or ashamed to be with me?

He’s told me that he will tell them about me but that still hasn’t happened. It makes me feel like maybe he doesn’t love me as much as he says he does.
