Am I a bad girlfriend?

My boyfriend has never gotten me anything for Christmas or Valentine’s Day or my birthday. Is it wrong of me to be upset and expect a gift in return? And I’m also hesitant to gift him a gift this Valentine’s Day because I know I’ll feel bad if he doesn’t get me anything and I got him something.

Some people just aren’t into giving gifts, sometimes it can be personal. It’s always a good idea to have conversations about this as not everyone is on the same page about it and some people have personal reasons as to not doing it, or they simply just don’t realize it was expected
