I went for my Day 9 scan & the doctor let me know that I’m doing a Lupron trigger due to my high AMH. He said that I took off on the stims like I was shot out of a canon. He said I am at high risk for OHSS. He counted approximately 18 follicles. He wants to give them until Tuesday, do another scan & then my retrieval will be Thursday or Friday.

Has anyone else used a Lupron trigger & had successful mature eggs retrieved? I know there are articles out there that say some women don’t respond well to Lupron triggers & no eggs are retrieved. I am going to insist on bloodwork being done the day after the trigger so that I can make sure that my body properly reacted to the Lupron. This makes me nervous!

Is there anything else I should be doing to ensure that the Lupron trigger is working properly other than ask for bloodwork?
