I hate to come here with frustration and negativity but I need to vent.

I moved from Northeast Ohio about 10 years ago to Central Ohio. I went to college, made friends, met my husband and got married. My mom insisted to have a shower for me back home which I was perfectly ok with considering 90% of my family lives there. But then my Columbus friends were asking about a shower and after deliberation and talking to a co-worker about it, I decided to have a small celebration down here with co-workers and other friends from different social circles.

My CBus Shower is in 2 weeks and I got a text yesterday from my co-worker who had offered to host (I asked a few times to make sure it wasn’t a burden) decided to pull out. So now I’m scrambling to figure out what to do. On top of hurt feelings, I’m frustrated and it’s the last thing I wanted to be doing 34 weeks pregnant.
