This may be tmi but I was wondering if anyone has herpes and had the baby natural? I’m getting kinda worried.

From what I’ve read you can have the baby naturally as long as no outbreak is present at the time. But also read they can give you Medicine to start taking around 36 weeks (?) and then once you get to the hospital they can administer what’s needed. But that’s just from articles I’ve read, I would ask the doc to be sure

No outbreaks within the last several weeks prior to delivery and you need to be taking your valtrex. You should have been prescribed as soon as you tested positive.

As long as you dont have any sores when you go in labor you should be allowed to deliver naturally. I have a family member with it and she was told if she had even one sore when she went into labor it would be a c section.

My brothers girlfriend did.  I think they gave her meds to prevent anything from happening to the baby.
