I don’t want my fiancé talking to my brother

1 year before I met my fiancé my brother and I got into a fight because he believed something his (now ex) told him. He ended up calling me a bitch and threw a picture frame at my face which game be a black eye and a cut on my face. And he tried attacking me (I had to call the cops). He hasn’t apologized or spoke to me in 3 years. He also told his current gf not to speak to me although we all live in the same house with my mom (I’m moving in April). So it puts me in awkward situations having them pass by me and not saying anything and when my other sisters are here she talks to them and my mom but won’t acknowledge me. Therefore I don’t want my fiancé talking to him. Since he gave me a black eye, doesn’t talk to me, and tells his gf not to talk to me. Why should my fiancé say hi and talk to him? I keep telling him to stop but he says “he’s not like that”. But if someone is being rude to your fiancé and got into a physical altercation with them, why would you wanna be cool with that person?
