How old were you when you moved out of your parents/family house?
I’m just curious about how old you were when you moved out? I moved out at 18 as did all of my siblings. We all have decent relationships with our parents but the expectation was after high school you need to move out and pursue college/job/both. My parents did help by paying for tuition, but living expenses were our responsibility from high school graduation on.
Many of my coworkers are of similar age to me now (25-30) and many live at home with their parents rent/living expense free.
